Key processes
- Supply of parts from the warehouse to production areas using the ‘lean’ supply KanBan system (with radio-controlled communication and bar code stock control)
- U-shaped production lines for final photocopier assembly give greater flexibility. Each photocopier is produced with quality checks integrated into each operation: "right first time"
- Quality validation through functional tests of a representative sample of the day’s productions, to guarantee that the machines delivered to our customers are of impeccable quality
- Change from CKD (Complete Knock Down – assembly of all copier parts) to SKD (Semi Knock Down – assembly of pre-assembled sub-assemblies)
